My Favourite Martini Recipes (first of a series)

Alec Guiness:
1. Pour a glass of gin (they all start this way)2. Make an obeisance in the general direction of the vermouth bottle.
Gerry Loweth:
1. Pour a glass of gin
2. Have someone call you on the telephone. Hold the telephone receiver over the glass of gin while your interlocutor says "Vermouth".
Dave MacDougall:
1. Pour a glass of gin
2. Tap the glass of gin lightly with the vermouth bottle.
